La historia de UDON Asian Food

La historia de UDON empieza en 2004. Viajes, mucha curiosidad y un paladar abierto a nuevos sabores llevó a los dos fundadores de UDON a enamorarse de la cultura y la gastronomía asiática.

El flechazo fue instantáneo y el hechizo permanente. Su pasión por los sabores, aromas y colores de la cocina asiática los llevó a abrir su primer UDON en el barrio del Born de Barcelona. Importaron el concepto de “noodle bar”, aún desconocido en España, pero con una tradición de más de 400 años en Asia.

Going to an udon restaurant means going full on udon. Great to see plenty of vegan options here, some including vegan chicken as well. The udon was nice. Not that full of veggies but that's often the case with these dishes. Tasty nevertheless. Starters were great as well. Gyoza and bao buns both had vegan options. Desserts were tasty as well, with some creative desserts like the banana chocolate rolls and the Japanese pancake, also with lots of chocolate. Place is quite big and modern. Well designed. And staff was very friendly too.

Had mixed sushi Wouldn't agree that restaurant shout serve ends of sushi. The food was okay. I wish it was great Overall the restaurant is nice. I believe other options in menu should be good. Soup looks great maybe will give it some shot next time :) Also love the design

We went to the restaurant and ordered 3 corral chicken yakisoba. It was all to our fullest satisfaction. Afterwards we had one cheesecake strawberry mochi, one chocolate cup (vanille ice) and one vegan chocolate cup (mango ice). Everything was tasty and the waiter was nice to us.

Food was terrible. Came here to satisfy my wife’s noodle cravings and everything was poorly done. I could taste MSG crystals in my ramen soup. Very little noodles and meat was tough. Their noodle roll was also terrible w salmon that was not fresh. Don’t go here unless you’re desperate.

The food was really good & filling. Service was also very polite. Definetly reccomend, If you like asian food!🫶
