La Rita

We were just lurking around, and stumbled upon by chance on La Rita restaurant. They had an open WiFi network, so we catch a break in front of restaurant to check notifications, while we were actually looking for a lunch somewhere in that area. They appeared to have quite good reviews on google and we gave them a chance. The waitress came few minutes after we seated and I asked for a couple more minutes, after 5 minutes her colleague asked if we were ready and started writing down the order even though my girlfriend wasn’t ready. They had like 5-7 options per course, and at the last page they had daily menu for 25€ per person - including starter, main dish, desert and a drink. Both of us ended up taking a menu, and white wine for the drink. They brought us a pitcher of home white wine - which tasted good , like a 0,5L and bottle of still water also around 0.5L. What was very surprising is the size of the starter dish. I was eating egg with prosciutto over french fries, and Caesar salad was for her. Which was her last dish that day(she’s not eating that much) I’ve finished my plate and main dish came in, she ordered friend chicken leg with prawns and buttered potatoes, while I was eating Iberian sirloin with rice in red curry sauce. She actually just tasted her food, because she was already full, and I have finished my plate within minutes. It tasted good- not too spicy, not a lot of eastern spices which was amazing and very tasty. For dessert we were having kind of a sorbet tasting like lemon, and something which was here choice, I personally didn’t like it that much. My choice was some kind of a local sweet which I liked. All in all, we had a good time there. It was kinda of a fine dining experience, with big portions and reasonable prices. Interior is pretty, toilets are clean and tidy. I would recommend this place to my friends.

An awesome corner in Carrer d’ Aragó Barcelona with great food at an excellent price. Wife had the cannellini with cod and I went with chicken and both were amazing. The Buñuelos de Bacalao were superb as the caesar salad. Tried the Tim Baon which is a cream brûlée ice cream with chocolate and it was spot on. Services by Evelyn who was very attentive and courteous. Great place for dinner in a romantic and tasty environment.

We recently dined at La Rita and had an exceptional experience. The service was excellent, thanks to our wonderful server, Evelyn. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was equally impressive. The risotto, black rice and mashed potatoes with octopus stood out as particularly delicious dishes. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. The atmosphere added to our enjoyment. We had an early dinner at 7 pm, which likely contributed to the pleasant and relaxed environment. The ambiance was perfect for a quiet and enjoyable meal. Overall, La Rita provided a memorable dining experience with great service, delectable food, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Our server, Evelyn is very friendly and helpful. We’ve ordered crunchy aubergines and ox tail croquettes as starters then followed by entrecôte, cod, truffle risotto and tuna teriyaki. Everything is delicious, especially the risotto and tuna. For dessert, we’ve selected a homemade Cheesecake. It’s exceptionally tasty. Unlike the one we usually have, it’s warm and soft. The dinner has been finished with Bailey-like shots. I’d say this is one of the best restaurants we’ve visited during the last few days.

Amazing food for the price! 10/10 for presentation, taste, service and ambience. It looks and feels like an upscale restaurant at a totally affordable price. We were 7 people and they were able to fit us in. The food came out quickly and it was sooooo good!! Evelyn did a great job at capturing everything we wanted and delivered things quickly and was very friendly. Highly, highly recommended.
